Managed Services Configuration Specialist
Configure our solutions and advise on configuration best practice for a portfolio of managed services customers — analyzing current state, recommending optimizations, and making the changes yourself.

About the team
Our Managed Services team supports customers with subscription services on an ongoing basis, helping them adopt, expand, optimize, and maintain their platforms as their organizations evolve. We function as an extension of their teams — consulting on design and configuration best practice, and doing the hands-on work needed to make their plans real.
The role
You will investigate configuration options for solving customer requests, complete updates in production on customers' behalf, and work with our Managed Services Consultants to manage a shared backlog so customers see continuous value from their subscription.
Responsibilities
- Maintain product expertise across the platforms we implement.
- Collaborate with consultants to gather requirements, offer recommendations, and scope and prioritize tasks within available hours.
- Complete detailed account reviews and configuration analyses to find improvement opportunities based on best practice and the customer's use case.
- Design, configure, test, and roll out complex, high-stakes configuration updates in production environments.
- Contribute to process and operational improvement in a fast-growing team.
Requirements
- Four or more years of professional experience, ideally in a consulting or configuration role.
- Experience with Zendesk or the wider customer experience industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and enthusiasm for the technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, internally and with customer stakeholders.
- Experience troubleshooting and finding multiple solutions to a complex problem.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the confidence to make high-impact changes in production.
- Ability to work independently and manage several project initiatives at once.
